The
Continuous Ploughshare® Mixers mixers operate on the hurling
and whirling principle
introduced by Loedige to mixing technology. Equipped with mixing
elements, which can be adapted to individual requirement, the mixes
produced in these machines are of the highest quality.
The KM-Series mixer is available in a large variety
of sizes ranging from the KM 150 D with throughput of around 4.5m³/h
to the KM 30000 D with a throughput
of as high as 1000m³/h.
By introducing
liquid into the drum and extending the residence time, the KM range
of mixers can also be used for the
micro-agglomeration of ultra
fine dust, to produce a granular, dust free product with a particle
size of up to 2mm.

The CB series mixer is a high
speed, continuous mixer for large throughput quantities, designed
particularly for homogeneous intermixing of liquid or pasty components
into dry carrier materials. When small quantities of liquid are
added, the end mix produced in this machine is without agglomerations.
If large quantities of liquid are added a uniform granulated structure
is obtained.
Throughputs achievable with the CB-Series continuous mixers range
from 0.1-0.4 t/h for the CB 20, to 15-200 t/h for the CB 100.
